Create a static QR code and upload it to Canva. Enter a URL or short text, set size (128–1024 px), quiet-zone margin, error correction from L to H, and brand colors, then download PNG or SVG. The link is encoded in the image. It does not expire, and changing the text in Canva does not change where the code goes.

People search for a Canva QR code generator when a flyer, story, menu, or slide needs a code phones can scan. This page builds that file in the browser: one URL or short message in, a PNG or SVG out, with size, margin, colors, and error correction chosen before the download.
Canva also builds QR codes inside the editor. Its QR code page describes a static option, whose link is fixed, and a dynamic option, whose link you can change later. Canva says Free, Pro, Education, and Nonprofit codes include a Canva logo by default, and Business and Enterprise plans can replace that logo. You reach those tools from Elements or Apps while you are signed in.
Muxgen is independent and is not endorsed by Canva. The file from this page has no Canva logo. The preview is rendered by QuickChart from the text you type. Do not put passwords or unreleased links in a code you will publish.

Replace the sample canva.com URL. Shorter links make larger modules. Build UTM tags first if the flyer needs campaign tracking.
128–1024 px, quiet-zone margin (4 on busy backgrounds), and L–H correction. Default is 320 px, margin 2, and level M.
PNG for a social post or when SVG upload is unavailable. SVG when the same file must stay sharp on a poster.
In Canva, use Uploads, place the file, keep it square, then scan the downloaded design with two phones.

Each control maps to the image you upload.
Encoded payload. The field starts as https://www.canva.com so a preview appears immediately. Replace it before you download.
Pixel size of the file. The preview on this page is capped at 360 px wide. The PNG download uses the number you set.
Quiet zone in modules. Default 2. Use 4 to match the four-module quiet zone in ISO/IEC 18004.
About 7%, 15%, 25%, and 30% recovery. Default M. Raise it if artwork will cover modules.
Module color and field color, normalized to six-digit hex. Dark on light is the safe pair for a Canva brand kit.
Download the image, copy the QuickChart image URL for a private test, or reset every control, including the sample Canva URL.
Higher recovery survives more damage and makes a denser code. Start at M unless something in the Canva layout will cover the modules.
Smallest pattern. Fine for a clean screen graphic with no logo and no print.
Default. Fits most Instagram posts, slides, and simple flyers.
Use when a small center mark or a fold might hide part of the code. Test at final size.
Densest modules. Pair with a larger print size so each square stays readable.
PNG is pixels. It stays sharp if you place it at the downloaded size or smaller. A 320 px PNG enlarged to fill a poster will blur, and blurred modules fail scans. For print from a PNG, generate 512–1024 px and scale down.
SVG is paths. It stays sharp when the Canva frame grows, which is why posters and merch prefer it. If the upload rejects the SVG, switch this tool to PNG at the largest size you will print and scale down only.
When you export the finished design, prefer PNG or PDF for anything people will scan from paper. JPG compression softens the edges of the squares.
The download is a normal image. Canva treats it like any other upload.
Download the file, open Uploads in the Canva design, and add it as an image. Do not crop into the quiet zone.
A 320 px PNG is enough on screen. Keep the code off gradients and away from the edge where a story crop can clip it.
Prefer SVG, or a 512–1024 px PNG scaled down. Export PDF for a print shop. Avoid a heavy JPG of the QR layer.
Place the code on a flat light panel. Scan the slide or the printed menu, not only the preview on this site.
A static QR code stores the destination in the pattern. This generator only makes static codes. There is no Muxgen redirect and no scan dashboard. If the landing page moves, generate a new image and replace the upload in Canva.
A dynamic QR code points at a redirect you can edit later. Canva’s own QR flow includes that choice inside a design, and Canva states that a static code cannot be converted into a dynamic one. If the campaign URL will change after you print, use Canva’s dynamic option, or encode a short URL you control and update the redirect instead of the artwork.
Build tracked links in the UTM Link Generator before you encode them, so the parameters are settled while the code is still easy to replace.

Link registration or a map. Leave margin 4 so photos behind the code do not touch the modules.
Point a post or story at a link in bio page or a product URL. Test the exported PNG, because filters can soften edges.
A short https link on the last slide. 320 px is enough when the deck stays on screen.
A digital menu URL. Use level M or Q. Tents get handled and glare.
Portfolio or booking link. SVG stays sharper at card size. Do not let the trim cut the quiet zone.
Assignment or form links on a handout exported from Canva. Print a larger PNG than the on-screen preview.
The preview on this page can scan while the exported design does not. Check the file you will actually publish.
A long tracked URL makes smaller modules. Shorten it, or put tracking on a short path, before you encode.
Open the link yourself before you duplicate the Canva design across a print order.
A non-square stretch breaks the grid. Corner handles keep the code square.
Blur, shadow, glow, and transparency in Canva round off module edges. Leave the layer flat.
JPG compression adds artifacts. Export PNG or PDF when the QR has to scan from paper.
A static code does not follow a text edit in Canva. Generate a new image and swap the upload.
For a phone at arm’s length, print the code at least about 2 cm (0.8 in) square. Codes read from across a room need to be larger.
